Tour Description
Day 1 – Marrakech
Today we pick up from the airport and we transfer you to local hotel / riad in historical centre – medina. Here you can discover famous square called Jamaa El Fna and nearby souk. In the afternoon we can visit gardens and museums in Marrakech and also you will enjoy traditional Moroccan dinner. On our 1st day of this private Morocco tour we stay overnight in local riad near historical square.
Day 2 : Marrakech – High Atlas mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Today we continue our private Morocco tour towards Ouarzazate passing the High Atlas mountains with its mountain pass called Tizi N Tichka at 2.260 m above sea level. You will enjoy amazing landscape and Berber villages on the way. We can visit Telouat Kasbah and fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. Here we will visit famous Kasbah where many famous movies have been shot, including Gladiator , The Mummy and others. Then we will drive to Ouarzazate which is also known as the gate to the desert and we will have here dinner and overnight stay in local hotel.
Day 3 : Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Merzouga desert
Today in the morning we will drive towards Draa Valley to see one of the longest rivers in Morocco. We will pass interesting kasbahs and Berber villages on the way. We continue our private Morocco tour by passing villages and cities as Nkob , Alnif, and others until we reach Merzouga desert dunes. We stay in local desert hotel where you will enjoy Berber dinner and you can explore nearby desert area by yourself.
Day 4 : Merzouga desert – 4×4 Erg Chebbi – camel trekking
Today’s private Morocco tour continues by 4×4 Merzouga desert tour and we will visit nomad people. After we spend short time with them we will enjoy desert oases. Our next stop will be Khamlia village ,which is famous for its music and local people who came here from Sudan. Our private Morocco tour will continue afternoon by riding camels from our hotel to middle of desert dunes. After we reach high dune we will enjoy sunset over the dunes. Then we continue to desert bivouac where we spend this night in desert tents. You will have traditional Moroccan dinner with Berber music at desert campfire.
Day 6 : Fes Guided Tour
Today we will explore Fes medina and also new part of Fes. In medina – old part you will visit many interesting places, museums . Fes has been the capital of Morocco for more than 300 years. Here we can find also University of Al Karaouine, which is the oldest university in the world. We will visit also Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Important part of the town is also tanneries , Royal Palace , Jewish quarter called Mellah with its synagogue. Our private Morocco tour if Fes includes also a visit of ceramic factory. Later afternoon you will have free program to discover Fes medina by yourself. We stay overnight stay and dinner in local hotel/riad.
Day 7 : Fes – Beni Melal – Marrakech
Today we depart Fes towards Beni Melal visiting famous waterfalls in Morocco called Ouzoud waterfalls. Here you have free program to relax and enjoy beautiful waterfalls. Then we drive to Marrakech where we will explore Jamma el Fna square and also medina. We stay here overnight in local hotel.
Day 8 : Marrakech tour
Today our private Morocco tour continue by exploring Marakech more deeply. In the morning we will visit interesting parts of Medina as the Koutoubia Minaret, then we will visit the Saadines tomb, also Bahia Palace, and amazing Menara gardens also Majorelle gardens in new part of the city called Gueliz. Here you can find many modern restaurants and coffees. You will have free time to explore Marrakech by yourself in old part and also new part. We stay overnight in local riad in medina.
Day 9 : Marrakech – airport
On the last day of our private Morocco tour you will have free program in medina and we will transfer you to the airport. That will be end of your custom Morocco tour.
